⌛History Behind The Piece⌛ This lamp reflects the shift of the late ’90s into the early 2000s, when bold, glossy finishes and curved forms dominated student dorms and office spaces. Using Ruey ceramic sockets (UL E93956C) and holographic UL certification labels introduced in the mid-1990s, manufacturers ensured both safety and modern style. Today, Y2K lighting like this is prized for its mix of durability, vibrant colour, and on-trend aesthetic.
