This 1960s three-piece set pairs faux-antler Bakelite handles with gleaming Sheffield stainless steel craftsmanship, neatly presented in its original satin-lined case. A collectible blend of Canadian mid-century design and English steelmaking â ideal for elegant dining or display.

Founded in Montreal in 1945, Glo-Hill Corporation became a Canadian design icon renowned for upscale giftware and barware sold under âThe Connoisseurs Choiceâ label. Their partnership with Sheffieldâs M. Bernard & Co. allowed them to combine Duracut steel blades from England with stylised North American handles in Bakelite or Lucite. By the 1960s, Glo-Hillâs boxed cutlery exemplified the sophisticated modernity of postwar entertaining â elegant, durable, and proudly Canadian.
