Vintage Canadian Pacific Air Plane Lithographs - By Robert Banks - Sold Separately. Canadian Pacific Air Lines was a Canadian airline in operation from 1942 until 1987. According to the envelope: "In three decades, CP Air has grown from a group of brush planes, flying scattered routes, to a major international all-jet airline. We'd like to take a fond look again at these machines, which played such an important role in the development of commercial aviation in Canada. To the men who cussed them, cared for them and flew them, we dedicate this portfolio of fine prints, from paintings by West Coast artist Robert Banks."
"Robert Banks was born and educated in Vancouver, British Columbia. After service in the RCAF he studied at the Vancouver School of Art and is now a free lance illustrator.
