đą Pyrex exclusively featured transparent glass products until 1922. In that year, a limited run of white Pyrex items made a brief appearance in the market, marking one of Pyrex's earliest departures from its signature clear glass designs. White Pyrex would then remain absent from the product line for the following 14 years.
The reason for the reversed Pyrex label lies in the original molds created for clear glass items, which were intended to be viewed through the glass itself. Since the white Pyrex bowls are not translucent, the label can only be read in reverse from the bottom on these exceedingly rare pieces.
In average vintage/used condition. Please note that there is wear throughout. Including a spot on top of the handle and a scratch of the lime green paint on the underside of the other handle. White striation lines can be seen on the interior. Please see all photos. đą
