😌 Striking and sculptural, this amber glass face decanter brings mid-century character to your bar cart or display shelf with sleek Scandinavian vibes. Crafted in the 1960s and shaped in warm honey-amber glass with a stylised face motif and elegant tapering neck, it works beautifully as both a liquor decanter or decorative object. Pair it with your favourite spirits, use it as a sculptural vase, or feature it as a conversation-starter on a credenza.
Bottle is in overall good vintage/used condition. Although, there is a small square chip on the bottom - see last two photos for close up. Please see all of the photos. 😌
⌛ History Behind The Piece ⌛
This piece echoes the famed “People” series created by Swedish designer Erik Höglund for Kosta Boda in 1957, a collection of expressive hand-blown forms in bold colours that helped define Swedish post-war glass design. Produced in the 1960s, such amber-toned figural decanters continue to be sought by art-glass collectors and mid-century design enthusiasts.
