⌛History Behind The Piece⌛
Manufactured by Tarco Toys in the early 1950s, Skill-Drive leveraged magnetic linkage and a scissor-linkage magnet beneath the board to control a car via a steering wheel — a clever electromechanical novelty for its time. Tarco marketed it as an “educational, competitive” driving toy, and surviving examples are rare in complete condition.
